Most of the time we are right when we say we are tired all because of work. You do things like go to the gym to revitalize yourself or eat foods that are rich in protein, stack up on vitamins and minerals but still at the end of the day, you feel exhausted and tired. How come this is happening to you? There might be some hidden issues pertaining your health. Here are some of them.

Anemia is a lot more common in women who experience heavy menstrual period. Although it is not exclusively for women, men also acquire such disease if they do not have adequate iron in their blood. Anemia causes the red blood cell to carry lesser amounts of oxygen throughout the body making you tired.

One of the most serious health problems that people face today is diabetes. Diabetes disables our body from attaining glucose which is used to fuel our body for energy. If that does not happen, we feel exhausted all day long and our bodies cannot compensate.

People with thyroid problems also experience fatigue. Hyperthyroidism or the overuse of your thyroid gland can lead to increase metabolism which means your body is taking up too much energy until there is none left. Hypothyroidism can also be the cause of your problem as the thyroid gland does not provide you with the right metabolism for energy.

We all feel sad sometimes but if it interferes with our lives like our sleeping habits, the way we eat, or even the way we deal with people then you should have yourself checked by a doctor. Depression can cause overall exhaustion even while doing nothing. It is a mind over matter issue which you need to deal with before it gets too serious.

Another health issue that might be difficult to prove but is connected to feelings of exhaustion might be rheumatoid arthritis. RA is caused when your immune system is attacking your body especially your joints. And when that happens, you do not want to move around since it is painful and it usually leaves you exhausted.

Insomnia and other sleeping problems can cause you to lose a lot of energy and deteriorate your body. You can easily identify sleep problems if you find yourself uneasy, anxious, and wide awake at night and feel sleepy and tired during the day. Fix this problem fast before it is too late.

These illness might be your key to getting your energy levels back. Always have yourself checked by a doctor before you do something to help get rid of the problem.
